Product Information

Mardin Pigeons wall art is carved from walnut tree by artisan Kadri Basci.
Mardin pigeons known as somersaulting pigeons, are among the most special species. They are the symbolize of Mardin (an old city at the southeast of Turkey) for thousands of years. They are popular in the Middle East and Europe since two hundred years.
Somersaulting pigeons are known as performers. Somersaulting Mardin pigeons are very distinctive with their variety of colors, high and beautiful flying styles and somersaulting techniques. And the most amazing is the special sound of their flapping wings due to their physical structure. It is like the symphony of wings under the skyline of the mysterious city Mardin.
Material: Walnut tree
