The artist was born in 1959 in Elazığ. He started painting with the support of his painting teacher Hatice Yüksel from high school in Artvin. He met French art historian Didier Vacher in 1989 at Beyoğlu Art Gallery. And with the support of him the artist did many atelier works between the years 1989-2003 both in İstanbul and France.

He did 44 solo exhibitions both at Turkey and abroad.
