The line of the ceramic workshop which has been operating in Galata İstanbul since the year 2009 is an innovative, usage oriented and a modern line with a unique and different style, which comprises traditional breezes. Each product carries the reflections of the moment it was produced. Hence, non of the products resemble one another. Innovative or rarely implemented techniques are preferred. In the workshop, mainly hand made porcelain products are produced. Products are separately created on lathe, by hand or via moulding method, by using Limoges or Porcelain mud. In order to obtain different colour and image effects, certain ornaments are applied by lustring, oxides and metal salts. Most products are introduced to the consumers in Paşabahçe Boutiques.

Artist Zuhal Bilginalp and Nihal Sarıoğlu who are the partners of Zen Ceramic Workshop met each other in Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics. Zuhal Bilginalp graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics, who did her master's degree at the same department.
