Muhittin Eldemir was born in Gaziantep has been started weaving textile as an apprentice, which was his father’s profession. In his apprentice time, he worked at home and learned how to prepare silk warps and wefts on a weaving loom. He then learned all steps to weave Kutnu textile. Eldemir is the second generation who succeeded to this traditional family profession. He has developed new colors and designs with Kutnu and furnished the Şark room of the Presidential Palace.
