Product Information

Green Mosaic Ottoman Caftan is designed and made by Mozart Mozaik using coloured glass pieces, vintage object beads. Each piece is designed uniquely for you.

For thousand of years kaftan has been worn by several cultures. Ottoman kaftan is famous as of the patterns, the decorations on it like buttons, ribbons which indicates the rank of the person.

Mozart Mozaik

After working non-stop for twenty years in their professions, kindergarden teacher Gülden Tanrıkulu and architect Verena Terün decided to turn their hobby into their business. They started making mosaic in 2003 in their private workshop, where they also had their first exhibition in 2011. The positive and encouraging reactions that they received let them to open their first shop in Alacati in 2012. They coninue to create unique objects at their studio in Istanbul.
