Quartz 925 carat silver pillbox is designed and hand made by Designed by Be. St. with the traditional Turkish silver craft technique. The stoneware ornament on the pillbox is made from an earthenware mixture containing 92% of natural quartz. The ceramic dough prepared by mixing the ground natural quartz crystals with clay and glass powder is hand shaped and after a drying period of 25 days at room temperature it is fired at intense heat in a special furnace, than it is hand painted and decorated with traditional 15th and 16th century Iznik (Nicea) themes covered with a layer of glaze then baked at 910 C in the kiln. 

The decoration adorning the pillbox consists of a long continuous stem issuing from a central point around which rings are created in a helicoidal structure is named as the Golden Horn (Tuğrakeş) design. The stems are punctuated with small flower and leaf motifs are placed at specific intervals. This design is also used as a decorative element in the Royal Seals (Tuğra-I Hümayun) and symbolizes immortality or infinity.
