Ceramic artist Koncagul Agaoğlu was born in Istanbul. She has started to study ceramics at İstanbul Bilsak Kadriye Ezel Workshop in 1995, followed with City Lit London College and Barry Guppy Workshop in London. She has participated in many exhibitions, like in 2000 at the  London St. Giles Church and in 2003 at the Istanbul Galata Festival.  

The artist is reknown with her special collection of Aegean, Mediterranean and lately Istanbul Girls. She lives in Foca and continue to work on various contemporary techniques like raku, paper/clay and similar. Koncagul Agaoglu is a member of the International Plastic Arts Association.
