Product Information

Tortoise shell “Elif” and “Vav” silver ring with mother of pearl inlay was designed and completely hand-made by the artist Fatma Ayran. “Elif” and “Vav” letters carved on the shell were cut from mother of pearl exactly in the same form and were attached on the carved place by hot-glue. There is 22 carat gold bronze at the back of the shell. Outer surface of the silver ring is tulip shaped. Elif is the first letter of the Arabic alphabet which represents the absolute unity of god. The meaning of Elif is “unique” and “single”. Vav means “the eye of God”, which also represents the embryo in the uterus.
Material: 925 silver, tortoise shell, mother of pearl
Dimensions: Top of the ring 1.5, 2 cm, L(20)
